Watching your bed in the breeze that we made from holding an embrace. Calmly talking about everything that we've thought of on that day. So let us just see what is made of us when time forgets all that we have done or who we've been with. Sleeping through dreams of moments when would share a tear, a laugh, a smile. And everything that has been, dissolves away into time.
Track Name: Properly Contagious
I’ve got some good friends none more so than you. I say ‘friends’ when really what I meant is one girl I’ve lost and haven’t ‘got’ anymore. But even if I cry, I’ll still search for your face in the busiest of crowds, down the empty hallways that once carried your voice so sweetly, I’ll search there for you. Like a child that first realised that sad songs and poets too are properly contagious, just like love is to you.
Track Name: This Is Perfect, Why Waste It?
Why have I noticed I’m not upset as much as I fear I always am? Is it because I find it too hard to show you or tell you how perfect you are? How could I express that I am glad better than saying I’m not quite so sad? So smile at me one just more time; I’ll pretend that you and I are not so many miles away. You’re close in my head anyway. Let’s waste our time and stare at faces staring back with just the same intent. I wish you were here. I have decided that you are why I am feeling there is a reason to live. No better than poets and their tortured heads no prettier than paintings, I’ll sing songs instead. I’ll turn to this again; hope the words that I’ve said seem slightly more real to you when I sing them.
